We have registered a number of firsts in our beaded designs and are proud to say we were the first to immortalise heritage fabrics in beads. Batik is one of the oldest fabric arts in Asia.

This wax-resist technique is being rejuvenated by a younger generation that uses this unique and amazing fabric art in new and interesting ways wielding their tjantings (wax receptacles) like a fine brush. We seldom see black batik and thought this would be a happy and elegant addition to our heritage series of beaded clutch bags.

This design is fitted with a 112cm removeable heavyweight coated stainless steel chain.

Our beads are individually handsewn and undergo stringent quality checks at our workshop and by ourselves before being shipped to you. The market loved it, including our competitors who became fans – we see everything, yes, EVERYTHING. (note to readers: imitation is not the sincerest form of flattery!).
